For my first rant, I’d like to start off small actually and build up as I go along here. I just can’t for the life of me believe I am alone in thinking that hybrid technology can’t possibly be bad enough that we can’t start looking more stylish in a hybrid.
The ugliest cars on the road are hybrids. I don’t know if they make them that way to stand out so folks can feel better about driving a car that could fly away as a 18 wheeler drives past it or if they honestly just can’t fit a nice frame around a hybrid engine.
What is it about a car or now even a truck having to look like absolute garbage to be a hybrid. Are you telling me that you cannot make a freaking Mustang or any of the other absolutely stunning looking cars on the road into a hybrid using the same tech you are using to make these cars that look like shoe fitters?
Driving down the road I am daily inundated with some of the most appalling to even look at cars driven by some of the most stupid people on the planet. How can a Smart car that can barely hold you and another person and enough air to breath be safe enough to drive on a high way. I’m in a Ford Ranger XLT that isn’t huge by any means and I dwarf these cars.
Hey, I’m all for folks that want to drive a hybrid drive them. I just think that if they were to expand the models to include NICER looking cars…Folks would buy ‘em.
The worst part is…they aren’t even any cheaper sigh…
